June 9, 2006: Still working on the site, but it's getting there.

THIS WILL DESTROY YOU REALIZE FORMAL RETAIL RELEASE OF "YOUNG MOUNTAIN" CD, PREPARE FOR FIRST TOUR

On June 6, 2006, Young Mountain, the stunning debut from San Marcos, Texas' pride and joy THIS WILL DESTROY YOU hit stores worldwide on Magic Bullet Records. This astounding 6-song full length can now be picked up at your favorite independent record store and select chains. If you local store does not have copies in stock, please make sure they pick some up (or you can order the album online from your preferred mailorder site or distro). For the digitally-inclined, the album is currently available via DownloadPunk.com and will be available via iTunes within the week.

Beginning July 17, the band sets out on their first ever tour with label mates SPARROWS SWARM AND SING. We could not be happier about this tour, as these are two of the most exciting bands one could ever witness on the same bill. To commemorate THIS WILL DESTROY YOU's maiden voyage across the nation's highways, Magic Bullet Records will be issuing a very special limited edition tour cassette featuring Young Mountain in its entirety, special remix versions of selections from the album, and labor-intensive handmade packaging.

Vinyl fans rejoice: upon return from tour, Magic Bullet Records will be issuing Young Mountain on LP format, complete with hand-screened artwork and a bonus disc containing remixed tracks from the album.

SPARROWS SWARM AND SING COMPLETE "O'SHENANDOAH, MIGHTY DEATH WILL FIND ME"

Coming off the heels of almost 4 months of studio sessions, SPARROWS SWARM AND SING have turned in their Magic Bullet Records' debut O'Shenandoah, Mighty Death Will Find Me. Clocking in at over 79 minutes spanning four robust movements, O'Shenandoah will no doubt prove to be one of the most uniquely dynamic and challenging "rock" albums you will ever purchase in your life.

In the coming days, Magic Bullet Records and SPARROWS SWARM AND SING will be streaming previews from the album for the first time publicly. Given the almost cinematic compositions of O'Shenandoah, these previews will only offer fleeting glimpses of what is contained on this album, as it is truly one to experience from beginning to end.

O'Shenandoah, Mighty Death Will Find Me (CD version) hits stores worldwide on August 8, 2006. Those fortunate enough to catch the band on their 2-month U.S. tour (beginning later this month) will be able to purchase copies well in advance. Magic Bullet Records will also soon be offering pre-orders for mailorder customers, featuring special packaging and components unavailable elsewhere. The band and label are currently making vinyl plans to be unleashed at some point this fall, which should exceed all anticipation and expectations.

As a bonus for those attending SSAS tour dates this summer (and MBR's diehard mailorder contingent), Magic Bullet Records will be issuing a very special cassette containing demo tracks made during the pre-production phases of O'Shenandoah. The edition will be rather small and will feature hand-painted art, so be sure to check the merch table and the MBR site this summer.
