DIGITAL NEWS: NEW MAGIC BULLET TITLES AVAILABLE + FREE DOWNLOADS AFTER THE SUPER BOWL

All of our January new releases are now available via iTunes or whomever your preferred digital download supplier might be (eMusic, etc.). Please give them a visit to download the latest from THIS WILL DESTROY YOU, AUSTIN LUCAS, THE WAYWARD, NITRO TOKYO, and RATTLER.

On February 3 at Super Bowl XLII, Amazon and Pepsi are teaming up to launch a year-long campaign where the will be giving out a billion (yes, billion) "free" downloads. Presumably, the downloads will be doled out under caps of your favorite sugar-water. If you're a soft-drinker and receive any of these codes in 2008, we definitely encourage you to redeem them toward any and all Magic Bullet Records titles. While they're "free" to you, both the bands and the label will be receiving licensing royalties for every song -everybody wins.

A MASSIVE WINTER 2007-2008 SALE HAS BEGUN

Conventional wisdom tells you that if you're going to have a big sale, you should do it right after Thanksgiving so that you can take advantage of the "holiday rush." Apparently we were just way too busy getting awesome to follow such sagely advice. Regardless, we've got some ridiculous deals going on involving 32 different CD titles, 13 different vinyl titles, and a bunch of shirts, DVD's, tapes, and such.

THIS WILL DESTROY YOU madness is hitting critical mass as we're nearing the "official" release of their new "s/t" album. The band recently got off the road with UNWED SAILOR and will soon be heading back out in the U.S. with friends and MBR favorite THE LYMBYC SYSTEM.

Good news for Europe and the UK: THIS WILL DESTROY YOU is coming your way in spring. Details soon.

Good news for Texas and anyone who knows where the best parties are every year: THIS WILL DESTROY YOU will once again play SXSW in Austin this March.

The new CD will be in stores January 29. The 2xLP version will be available in stores this February. iTunes junkies should look for the new album shortly.

If you pre-ordered either the CD or 2xLP from us, here's an UPDATE:
• CD: If you ordered a CD by itself, it has shipped!
•CD/shirt combo: We are awaiting the shirts from our vendor and will ship both when they arrive
• 2xLP: We are awaiting test presses from the pressing plant. Everything else is done/waiting.

"Young Mountain," the debut album by THIS WILL DESTROY YOU, has entered into its 8th pressing on CD and 2nd pressing on vinyl. We'll have ordering info on the vinyl available once we know what we're doing with it color-wise.

AUGHRA & MOSH PATROL APPEAR ON TONY HAWK'S NEW BIRDHOUSE DVD



MOSH PATROL and AUGHRA (aka Chris King of THIS WILL DESTROY YOU and Brent Eyestone of FORENSICS) recently got some of the best news adult children can get: Birdhouse Skateboards (Tony Hawk's own brand) selected various tracks from the "Is There Anyone Else Outside?" split CD to use in "The Beginning," their first skate DVD in 10 years.

MOSH PATROL can be heard in the intros for Jeremy Klein and Steve Nesser. AUGHRA can be heard in the intro for Shaun Gregoire and is also serves as the music for the official trailer. Additionally, AUGHRA's "Courage & Courtesy" appears in "The Making Of The Beginning" documentary, which is currently airing on Fuel TV and appears as an extra feature on the DVD.

MAGIC BULLET SKATEBOARDS NEWS





The thing about our genius is that it really doesn't sound like genius. That's why we picked DECEMBER to put out two new deck designs.

First up is a new color scheme for the Horkey logo deck. We're calling this one "wintery mix" (silver ink on deep blue). And in the spirit of taking things WAY too far, the "epic" THIS WILL DESTROY YOU design is now our second deck design for the month. Both are in the webstore and can ship right away. Sizes = 7.5", 7.75", 8.125", 8.25".
